Ok, can all the web developers out in the free world stop adding SEO in their quotes unless they have an SEO professional complete the work? In the past week I have been involved with four deals where the developer stated they did basic SEO at time of development. Stop – “Meta-Tags” and “Title-Tags” are not SEO – those are how you set up a website! If you are not spending equal amount of time on SEO as you did on the design, then you are not performing SEO.

Case in point: even when I work on a site from scratch I spend the equal amount of time (if not more time) in the SEO functions and connections. I tell my clients I can’t make a pretty website (see it’s not hard to admit the truth) but I can get it found.
