Indianapolis Marketing for 2009!

We have seen with today’s collapsing market more companies dropping print advertisements and spending more dollars on the web. The most common conversation I am having with business owners is the lack of readiness of their current web site. Most sites built in the last 4 years were not built to be found but to look good and function. When the market was good most websites were looked as fancy business cards and a way to show clients they were a legitimate company. Now that the market is down these owners are realizing that they should have focused more on the marketing development of the web.

Here in Indianapolis we still see companies not taking advantage of the web to help them fight off the recession we are in – YES I said it; we are in a recession!

The companies I have helped over the past year are seeing results from their proactive actions. Recently on my monthly review a current client was getting orders and tracking the results through the web and was excited to see progress. Without the web these clients would have been looking at accounting numbers for advice. Hmm, when has an accountant ever been right about marketing?

I recommend that if you are not seeing a change in your website function and traffic to give us a call to help guide you in 2009.
